    Brad Mondo recommended this brand to his viewers to clarify hair in the presence of hard water and said it will help with hair tone upon bleaching & colouring (with a demi-permanent colour). I have hard water in Leeds – I know this as dried out water marks leave a white residue of calcium carbonate, and my kettle is a wreck. Imagine what it’s doing to our hair! Anyways, this was super expensive for what it is, however, after using it my waves have formed together in the absence of crunchiness, which usually happens when I leave it to air dry-which I assume is a cast of calcium and other hardwater minerals left on my hair from the water. It’s super soft and a little shiner than usual. The worst part of the experience was the smell of the stuff-I’m super sensitive to metallic smells and when I put a little water on the crystals to solvate them I started retching and shivering from the smell, which didn’t end until after I had rinsed it off 5 minutes later. Barf! Despite this, I might use again.

    This is so necessary in my well water hair care routine. My hair only feels clean and soft if I use these packets. I use a small amount once a week and it removes all of the built up metals in my hair, and helps the shampoo work properly. I prefer a clarifying shampoo followed by Malibu C hard water conditioner, because the Malibu c shampoo has a strange smell. These packets are a life saver and help my hair stay healthy with hard water!

    Didn’t believe the hype, but I tried it once and the photos speak for themselves! Removed all the pinky/orangey tones from my extensions and left them feeling incredibly soft. Wish I knew about this product years ago!

    As mentioned by another reviewer, your hair will smell like coins if you needed it. Your shampoo will work after using this. By work as in lather up. Hair is super soft!

    My fine, color-treated hair is very prone to product build-up, so I am always careful. I use little product and regularly use a clarifying shampoo. However, lately, my hair looked as if I was literally washing it with peanut butter: extremely heavy, hard to curl, and lifeless. I live in an area with hard water and do need to put in some kind of permanent water filtration system. But, in the meantime, these hard water packets made a difference in one use. Got rid of the heavy build-up and extremely greasy-looking appearance. Highly recommend.

    I have tried several things to help my hair feel softer, stronger, smoother, etc. This is finally the product I’ve been looking for. I used it on myself and my daughter also used it on her hair. She has very long, fine hair and this product brought it back to life! We have very hard water and it takes a tole on our hair. I am happy to have found this product to help!

    Got fresh extensions for holidays, they turned gingery pink I thought they were ruined and the best hair quality. Researched and suncream, Sea salt and hard water all came up as results to why my hair turned this colour on left. Found this miracle in a sachet! I did use two sachets to cover all hair and my own hair as parts affected. I shampooed as normal twice. Then activated this sachet in hand with little water formed a paste applied it to hair and scrunched over a few times. It says 5 mins first time I did it really only made tiny difference, next wash today I left 10-12 mins and my result to the right. I shampooed again and conditioned well. I used a spray leave in conditioner also once hair wash washed. So happy my hair is back to perfect colour before I went on holidays. Will purchase more now and keep for next holidays. Takes out all the brassy tones, hair feels so light and clean.

    Live in an area with hard water and my hair is blonde. After using this treatment my hair immediately felt a lot softer, lighter and curled much better along with being brighter. I recently went to visit my mother who’s working abroad, hadn’t seen her in 2 months and she kept asking me what I did to my hair as so curly. Shows how much cr*p is in our water and how much stays in our hair. Definitely be getting more treatments. Could smell better but less chemicals

    Definitely works well – I live in a very hard water area and it makes a huge difference.
    I can use half a pack at a time, my hair is shoulder length, which makes it better value but it is quite expensive and fiddly.
    Worth the effort though!

    We’re on we’ll water here. My hair has never been chemically treated but was so dry and the ends were very brassy/orangey which wasn’t matching my natural tone of very light ash brown. I clarified first with a Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo and then applied this stuff. While processing it smelled like pennies. After 5 minutes I rinsed it out and clarified again and then finished with a Joico deep conditioner.
    My hair is like completely different hair now. It’s so soft and there’s no more frizz! And best of all the color is much better. I’ll probably do another packet soon because there’s a little orange left but it’s much better.

    We have a fair amount of iron in our water, and with gray/silver hair. I was starting to get a pink tinge. After one application my hair returned to normal!
    I will continue to use once a week for maintenance. I recommend this product.

    I currently live in San Diego where most of the area is hard water. I struggled with the hard, oily feeling it would leave in my hair. Now I use this, and my hair feels amazing. Washes now last 3-4 days, and you would never be able to tell. Plus, I’m an active person so that’s with exercise and everything. I recently ran out and forgot to purchase it. I went around to all of the local beauty supply shops and no one had it. I was so sad. But I was also able to tell all the stores about how AMAZING this product is. It’s a definitely a YES.
