My daughter accused me of being an old lady for installing this in my car. I was suffering from a skin rash on my chest this summer and my seatbelt was painful while driving. This arrived quickly and was a lifesaver for the summer road-trip. I put the second one on the passenger side of another car. It’s soft, firm but plush. I have to slide it up manually so that the slack in the seatbelt retracts when I park to get out of the car.

I bought this shoulder pad for my son, who was going to be traveling with a cross-body bag that had an uncomfortable strap across the shoulder.
