The trash bag is larger than I expected. The magnet closing doesn’t stay closed very well. The trash bags that come with it don’t stay in place. Not too impressed.

For personal preference, maybe if it wasn’t so “foldable” seeming, more solid in frame, I would like it more.
But other than that, I think it was the best product I could find on the market when I was looking, offered me most of everything I was personally looking for.
I do love it. And gosh, so much better than using loose plastic bags in your car. It helps so much.

Two things: First, this trash bag came with a big supply of plastic film bags, presumably to use as inserts. These film bags are so thin that you can poke through them with paper. They really aren’t useful for containing anything besides tissues. Second, the bag has a magnetic closure – sure that works but it’s difficult to open from the front seat when you have a handful of garbage. Third (I was kidding about two), if you leave the bag open, the outer edge sags down completely so you still have to kind of dig into the bag to make sure you’re not going to release your handful of garbage onto the floor. I will have to make some sort of bracket to hold the bag upright and open.

Got this before a road trip. It’s a great size, and because it’s lined (so a little bit insulated) we actually put a small bag of ice and chilled beverages in it for the outbound, but then switched use to waste basket as needed.

This is overall a great trash can for the car. The magnetic closure is great and it comes with plenty of bags. I only gave it 4 stars because the strap could be longer so you have more options to place it.
