I use a few drops of Ogx rubbed between hands and added to towel dried hair which I then wrap in a turban before styling. 1-2 other styling products over the top poses no problem. It penetrates well and I don’t experience build up. (I use a clarifying shampoo occasionally) Mind though! A little goes a long way- otherwise greasiness. My hair has been extensively professionally bleached and this product softens and helps manageability. My previous bottle lasted me 2+ years with no deterioration of the product when stored in bathroom cupboard . Would recommend

No saben lo mucho que AMOOO este producto y lo mucho que lo ando recomendando, soy de cabello quebrado y con echarme un poco de este producto en mi cabello húmedo , les juro parece que me planché el cabello .
No quita 100% el frizz pero sí se nota un cambio considerable, el olor es rico y deja el cabello mega suave les juro 10/10, llevo usandolo por casi 3 semanas y me encantaaa!

I’ve been trying everything from Oplex to Redken, trying to revive my dry, crusty, thick brown girl hair. I usually did the traditional cultural method, overnight oil treatment but let’s keep it real, your girl is hella lazy and no longer has the time for a whole spa-like oil treatment. I needed something easy, quick, and effective.
And Voila! The OGX Extra Strength Renewing Oil! I’m not sure if it’s the Argan oil infusion or some kind of magic, but this oil works wonders on my hair. It leaves my hair incredibly soft, shiny, and smelling fantastic. It’s lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down.
After using this OGX oil, my hair has seen remarkable improvement. No lie, I’m out here thinking to apply as a hair model. Now, I catch myself flipping my hair in front of every person I pass by for no damn reason, but simply to show off this beautiful, soft hair. I’m now going to buy in bulk because I can no longer be stopped from flaunting this gorgeous hair. Sorry, not sorry!

I would usually think an oil would be too heavy for my hair. It’s blonde, and it has gotten drier through the years, but I don’t want to weigh it down. After shampoo/condition I sprayed my Miracle 10 for blondes underneath and on the bottom half of my hair to the ends. That’s more of a conditioning spray. I have to use something else to avoid flyaways. I used the Argan oil while it was still damp, and I noticed my hair was silkier and more manageable. I took a chance and used it this morning on dry hair, since the bottom half looked a little dry, and the top had a few strands sticking up. I don’t shampoo every day, because I have long hair and don’t want to dry it out any more than necessary. It did just what I wanted – added a little shine and made it look less dry before I touched it up. I used maybe a dime size on my palm, rubbed my hands together and spread it lightly over a section, then repeated as needed. I probably did that three times in all, different areas. I thought it would be better than too much at once. This is a keeper! I’d order again.
Update: I went out of town without it. I used my Coppola Keratin shampoo and conditioner as usual. My hair did NOT do as well!!!! I used my Argan oil night before last and even went to bed with it wet. It’s usually out of control looking the next morning. It didn’t look bad straight out of bed, but I flat-ironed it as usual. The next morning I almost didn’t have to do anything to it!! It looked soft, shiny, and was behaving great. I have almost zero frizziness when using the Argan oil. I’m a firm believer now. It amazes me that I can even reapply to dry hair when needed, and it doesn’t weigh it down. Obviously, I don’t overdo it, but I still use more than I’d think I could get by with. I compared it to another brand, which has great reviews – the HSI, since I have that flat iron. I used the HSI brand twice to give it a chance, then went back to this one. This one wins hands down – can’t believe the difference. My sister bragged on my hair yesterday when I used it, and I didn’t use the conditioning spray first. (I still use a thermal spray after it’s dry, before I flat-iron.) No other brand from now on!!! I think this one’s even less, and you get a good size for the money.

Advice from licensed cosmetologist and barber for over 15 years:
I got this oil about 8 years ago, I ran out and I THOUGHT I got the same oil but it was actually the spray bottle that looks just like this bottle but is NOT IT. It has to say “EXTRA STRENGTH”.
I was thinking my hair just didn’t react to it the same anymore, and that I might just be aging, lacked minerals, but was confused because I barely put heat to it and it was virgin. Kept cutting it and it still would grow out the same.
I bought it and first application immediately was able to run my fingers or any comb through my hair wet, and makes it SO SOFT. It also STAYS soft without reapplication between next wash.
Until I found this product again I will tell you I spent SO MUCH money on other oils, sprays, lights, masks, pills (you name it I bought it) claiming to do the same. EXPENSIVE products as I am a cosmetologist that can get high end brands. Only Mielle oil could feel similar but definitely not the same and needed multiple applications.
I can also guarantee to friends and clients that if their hair is damaged that I can make it feel the same again and to STOP getting it cut. It never fails me, and people say they have never had their hair feel so soft in their life.
TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT OILY: I put about half a dime size amount first, and see if my hair glides through wet, if it doesn’t then I go in half dime size amounts when adding. Comb through hair vigorously each application to avoid over oiling. I apply from ends to root NOT scalp (too risky to make it oily). Because of not having to use a lot, the bottle will last you a LONG time.
Whats even more crazy is it’s so cheap!
Just the best, if I could invest and sell in this product I would.
