    Prior to specific relaxer products being commercially available, a perm was all we had to use as a relaxer. This one is wonderful to use for gray/silver/white hair as it does not discolor. Hair will remain the same shade it was prior to using, no yellow! I’ve been using a relaxer specific to gray hair and it’s great except for leaving my hair looking like it was peed on. Then it takes most of a day of using purple conditioners and masks to get it back to it’s silvery-white shade.

    This left my hair in great condition and with no yellowing…definitely a win!

    The only drawback for me was the smell. As most perms are, very sulphur-y. Open the windows!

    Use this product on my Mother, for hair perms. Works really well. Use it 3-4 times a year.
