I haven’t had a chance to use this yet, waiting for vacation in the DR. So excited, took last one back because there was a bunch of little plastic attachments with no directions. This is a nice size and lightweight, comes with little carrying case. Looks pretty simple and straight forward. Also came with a little booklet. For the price you can’t beat it.

Better quality than I expected. Came with lanyard, battery, charging stuff and a micro sd card. Also had a carrying pouch. Took a few pictures to test out and they were good. Lots of setting options and the selfie screen on front is a nice feature. We are taking it on a cruise so I will get a chance to try out the water resistance soon. Completely met expectations!

I live in FL and got this for snorkeling trips and to take on trips where our summer storms may cause a problem. I ran into an issue when I needed a battery and was only able to get one from the camera manufacturer. If yours arrives missing the battery or if you are the type who likes a spare battery keep shopping. Shame because this rates a five star review otherwise. For a point and shoot for canoeing or beach pictures it is great. I don’t know why they make it so hard to get a battery. The manufacturer did send me a battery when requested once I figured out how to contact them.

I got this for my daughter for our trip rafting down the Grand Canyon for seven days. I told her to use it sparingly, but the battery didn’t drop below 3/4 the entire time. She only took a couple videos and most were pictures (250+ pics). She had user error sometimes where she wouldn’t focus on the object before snapping a picture so some pictures were blurry. When she figured it out though, the quality of pictures was just fine. The camera lasted well in the extremely cold Water (50 F), as well as in the extremely hot environment (100s F). She dropped it on the rocks several times so it took a beating and still worked. I’d buy it again! Easy to recharge and get the pics off onto the computer via usb.

The camera description says it comes without an SD card and you have to buy one. I did–but there is no way to insert it. The booklet that comes with this camera does not show how or where to insert the SD card. I looked at all the videos and reviews, and nothing mentions this. I asked a question on Amazon and the seller said the instructions are written beside the slot. Not so! There is something stuck inside the slot in my camera that looks like an SD card. Pushing on it makes it pop up, but it will not come out. Pushing again makes it go back in. And there it is stuck. I’m so frustrated because we are leaving on our trip and now I have no camera to take underwater photos while snorkeling. Very dissatisfied customer!

This phone is fine for what it is: a cheap waterproof camera. I would only get it for whatever underwater photos you need it for. I will continue you just using my phone for all other photos as the quality is better. The instruction booklet is written in broken English by someone from India, but it’s easy enough to understand. I’m not using the phone for long vacation swimming activities so I cannot comment on the battery life. The commenters whining about the waterproof battery compartment being hard to open should probably seek help being an adult. It’s no harder than figuring out the child-proof cap on a pill bottle.

I bought this about a week before my trip to Antigua. I was actually looking for the cheap one-time use underwater cameras that you have to take to get developed and I found this one instead. I recommend playing with it before you go on vacation so that you are sure how to use it while in the water. We actually stayed on the Atlantic side of the ocean. The first 2 pictures were taken on the reef on the Atlantic side. The third and fourth pictures were taken on a reef on the Caribbean side of the island. The water on the Caribbean side of the ocean was more clear. I think the current/waves churned up more of the sand so the water was more cloudy. You can see the last 2 pics were much more clear (less sand floating in the water….not a fault of the camera). I found that I could turn the camera and use it for about an hour before I had to plug it back in. That would be about the only draw back with this camera. I still am trying to figure out all the functions on the camera, but that is more my fault since I waited about 5 days before my departure to order the camera and the fact that I am not super camera savvy. But it worked very well for what I wanted. I was pleased with the camera and can’t wait for the opportunity to use it again! The SD card you need to purchase for this needs to be a micro SD card.

A little difficult to navigate for a child but still is a good camera for the price.
