My kiddo wanted shiny hair like she was seeing everywhere else this summer. Come to find out that if you get it done professionally they charge you by the strand and it is crazy expensive. We got this kit and used five or so strings in each bead, folded over that was ten pieces of tinsel for each bead. I tried it too and it lasted in our hair with swimming, washing, brushing, and conditioning like normal for well over a month. We still have plenty left in the kit and did it a couple of times with friends too. SO much fun for such a great deal!!! I will say that it was a little tricky to figure out how to use the crochet hook and how to get individual strings out, but once I worked that out it wasn’t too difficult. It was time consuming, so I prepped most of it beforehand, like tying the pieces onto the beads. how to videos online were helpful too. But this was by far my best purchase of the summer.

Easy to use but cannot stay in hair without the beads as is falling out from hair. Lots of tinsel and clean utensils. I put for my daughter and she adore the tinsel. I am happy with this purchase and create a nice look on the hair.

My daughter loves these. She’s had the same extension on for 2 weeks now. Great quality. Takes some getting used to when learning to attach onto the hair. Crimping it is much easier than trying to tie the tinsels as they end up loosening and falling off. My daughter’s gotten numerous compliments on her hair.

There is definitely a learning curve with these. It took me a few tries, but I finally got it. I did take a star off because some of my beads lost the inside grippy part before I could even use them. I haven’t used them with heat, but my friend got similar ones and she said she curled them by using a wand and adding more hair than tinsel into the section and it was fine.

It came in a little bag which is perfect for when the tinsel is nice and organized. Unfortunately all the little pieces keep getting tangled and the small bag doesn’t help. Other than swapping to my own bag, it’s wonderful!

It was super easy to use but was a little disappointed that the tensile cannot have any heat while in the hair. You cannot curl this tensile or straightened

I put these in my hair during our drive to Vegas. I had them in for a week! I washed them, braided them and curled them. I got so many compliments. The instructions are confusing yes. The tool is dirty but they even say it in their description that the tool has grease on it. They are comfortable to wear. Do not put them too close to your scalp or that can cause discomfort. Also remember that you can see the beads depending on the area you place them. I used about 4 strands of tinsel folded for each bead and about 15 strands of hair. Taking them out wasn’t too bad either. I did have some matted areas but nothing crazy. I will buy again.

The only thing I wish is that there was a way to put the remainder back so it doesn’t get tangled. But they are easy to install and I love it
